Gardiner has served as a main entrance to Yellowstone National Park since its creation in 1872. Known as the “Gateway to Yellowstone," it is a quaint western town with a main street that has a spectacular view of the Yellowstone Arch. Within a four block radius you can find most anything you need. At times the ratio of elk to humans is about equal, the ratio of saloons to restaurants is about equal, and the hospitality of the locals is beyond compare!
